Correct missing teeth

Fixed implant rehabilitation today is a solution that allows you to safely, predictably and successfully replace lost teeth. Thanks to this technique, it is possible to correct the lack of teeth on the day of the surgery, thus immediately rendering aesthetic and functional.

Guided surgical technique

At International Advanced Dentistry®, all implant case planning is done using the computer and in most cases the surgical technique is minimally invasive as it is performed using a surgical guide that provides precision in the placement of implants. In other words, in this way it is possible to reduce the intervention times and improve the postoperative period with greater comfort for the patient.

Clinical option for cases without teeth or with teeth without viability

In very special and infrequent cases, and after careful diagnosis, there may be situations in which it is not possible to rehabilitate the dentition other than by the extraction of teeth which, over the years, have lost the support of the gingival and bone tissues, either by successive trauma or by periodontal disease. Here too, it is possible to perform the same type of procedures with the same predictability.

Two stages of treatment

The rehabilitation of completely edentulous patients with implants always involves a first surgical intervention, during which temporary acrylic prostheses are placed. It is thus possible to give the patient the necessary comfort until the production of so-called ceramic prostheses. This second phase of treatment is carried out in a few consultations, between 4 and 6 months after the date of the surgery.

Clinical Case 1

This 56-year-old patient had a partial lack of teeth in the upper jaw and the lower jaw did not have a single tooth. Thanks to a minimally invasive surgical technique using two guides created by the computer, it was possible to reestablish the patient's aesthetics, phonetics and masticatory function on the same day.

Clinical Case 2

The 68-year-old patient complained that both removable full dentures were out of shape, that he was unable to chew correctly and that he also had difficulty speaking. In this case, the years of use of the total prosthesis in the upper jaw led to a very important loss of bone and, as such, the treatment option included the implementation of a new and adapted upper total prosthesis and a fixed prosthesis on implants in the lower jaw.

Clinical Case 3

In the case of this 56-year-old patient, advanced periodontal disease has led, over the years, to a loss of bone and gingival support in most teeth and, thus, to tooth mobility that did not allow chewing without pain or discomfort. In cases like this, the first phase of treatment involves monitoring by the hygienist, which thus creates the most favorable conditions for performing the surgery. The patient was treated in two phases, a surgical one that involved both jaws and a final phase that corresponded to the placement of the definitive ceramic prostheses.

Clinical Case 4

This 64-year-old patient looked for a treatment that could correct the general lack of teeth. In a first phase, a single surgical intervention was performed following the All-on-4 ™ technique, and in a computer-guided way, esthetics and masticatory function were immediately restored thanks to fixed acrylic prostheses. In a second phase, the definitive ceramic prostheses were made, allowing to guarantee the stability and longevity of the treatment.
