Functional Rehabilitation
Book Evaluation AppointmentOcclusion and wear problems
The early diagnosis of occlusion problems and the level of dental wear is essential in the prevention of musculoskeletal problems, namely of the temporomandibular joints. Similar cases require holistic observation, planning and treatment, with an essential maintenance component for the long-term success of these treatments.
Integrated treatment between the various specialties
Some cases of functional imbalance, such as this one, present not only dental problems but also lack of teeth. These cases require the intervention of several specialties that, in a coordinated manner, reach the final result in the shortest possible time.
Prevention of joint problems
Sometimes, some patients have treatments already performed and, in such cases, it is important to assess the state of these treatments and verify that the contacts between the teeth are balanced. If there is a problem with the existing treatments and there is an imbalance in the occlusion it will be important to treat holistically to prevent any future joint problems.
Resolution of biological and masticatory imbalances
In these cases of greater complexity, in which there is a combination of biological, masticatory and aesthetic problems, it is essential to carry out team work, planned in stages and carried out according to the most advanced scientific knowledge and the least invasive techniques. The patient's well-being throughout the process is a concern of our entire team.
